Four months ago today, at around 1 in the morning, little man G was born. Happy four months, my little man :) And you all know I'm not one to "gush" over baby photos, but come on... look at those eyes!

After the "little mix-up" of last week, I am now back on Flickr as a safe, self-moderated account. Tess said to me that Flickr is not really for marketing, but if you do a Google search for 'Houser', my Flickr stream comes up as the second result. To dismiss the impact this site can have on my marketing would be narrow-sighted. It's in my best interest to keep this thing cranking.

At the same time, my fine art work - my most recent efforts - are not viewable by the public at large. To a degree, this is a good thing. While I don't think the human form is anything to be bashful of or shameful, when captured in the way I tend to shoot it most, I do understand that young children (mostly young adults) might confuse nudity with sexuality, so there is a need for Flickr to protect my content from those viewers.

But my work does NEED to be seen by my prospective clients. I have therefor decided that I need to continue to display my work here, whether it be flagged as restricted or not, as well as fine tuning my personal websites to be more client-centric and use those vehicles to display my work... uncensored.

It's just a splash page, but the full site will be launched later this month. Then, by January 2009, my Houser Photography site will also be re-worked to encourage print sales, etc.
